This is a variation on a cat of nine tails, however it has one fall with a baseball at the end of it. The leather is cow. It has an incredibly heavy thud for an impact. There is no sting with this toy at all. The core is not a true baseball. It is made from a sponge-rubber practice ball, so it does bounce back after impact. Tops watch out! This flogger is meant for heavy to intense play depending on how it is used. It is not for beginners.
