In the construction of our signature floggers we utilize top quality leather and A-grade cocobolo to produce truly unique pieces. Cocobolo is a gorgeous, high-density wood that exhibits an astounding variety of colors and grain patterns and we always aim to exhibit that to the fullest.
For that reason, we pair each handle with a knot of 30 cow leather falls in black. This medium-weight leather makes for a very versatile flogger. The impact has been described as lightly thuddy with a slapping sensation and moderate sting. If higher sting is desired, the length of the falls and flexibility of this leather make snapping the tips easy. If heavy thud is desired, we recommend exploring our bison and bull leather floggers.
The pictures above show some of the variation that is possible, but not the actual handle you will receive. Thanks to this grain variation each handle will be unique with no two ever looking exactly the same.

All cocobolo will darken and deepen as it continues to oxidize and age. I will always try to choose similar pieces of wood when making matched sets but each piece is unique and will age in its own way.
