The hides are treated with tannin, usually derived from Oak trees. Our leather is sourced from Italy, Brazil, Belgium and the USA. Leather is a by product of the meat industry. Only one percent of hides become leather. No animals are killed just to provide our leather.

Our dyes are water based, that is better for the planet and we think, just plain better. They definitely smell sexier.

Our snaps are Stainless Steel, so they will never rust and shouldn't trigger any nickel sensitivities. They'll look the same tomorrow and ten years hence.
