It is made with genuine latigo or bridle leather with a (made in the UK) rubber pump mechanism on the inside of the panel. Once tightly fastened, the panel really seals the lips well and is very comfortable to wear. The bulb is squeezed to enlarge the gag and the air is released using the silver valve knob. The leather panel is 3.25" x 4".
