This listing is for the somewhat Unique medical grade material silicone Balls for Ball Gags that I make.
They are JUST THE BALLS, NO straps.

They are what I would call "Rose Red" in color. It is a slightly darker red with a touch of purple and actually matches quite close the red rose that was blooming in the yard at the time.

Yes, the photo is fuzzy, but camera having issue and it was too hot in the workshop to take more at the time.

PLEASE NOTE: These are NOT the same overall quality as my regular Balls I offer. These were made using a slightly different grade of silicone material. It is still a medical grade level of silicone, but is not nearly as teeth resistant as my usual material (see trivia note below for more info). They are however more squishy than my regular balls.

All of these are sold "AS IS" and returns will not be accepted (unless I sent you the wrong one).

These are balls were made to finish using up the different grade silicone I got and I was specifically trying to get more larger sizes made, which with this material has a much higher failure rate.

They are being sold for the folks that want a high quality ball that are a little unique.

The balls are made in Newport News, Virginia, USA.

This listing has all of the balls remaining I molded in this experiment. I am not likely to make more anytime soon. Mostly because I don't have storage space to keep these in regular stock.

They are only available in the sizes created. Until at least most of them sell, I will not be making any more

They have been calipered and rounded off to my usual sizes and are thus give or take 1/16th of an inch variation from that listed.

Let me know in the notes if you want the ball placed on the strap before shipping, otherwise they will be shipped in separate packaging. (until the Strap listings are moved here, they will be shipped separately.


Specifications:
- USP Class VI quality level of silicone material and most color additives (although they do not come sterilized, they can be medically sterilized if needed or desired).
- I am not 100% sure that mixing the colors has affected their properties, however both colors used pass individually.

- Target durometer in this case is 34. The durometer should be plus or minus 5 due to molding variations. My usual material produces a target durometer of 43 (higher is harder).

- The strap holes are molded in and can not be changed without modifications to the mold.

- Rectangular Strap holes.
-- Balls that are 1.0, 1.125", 1.25" and 1.375" in diameter have a 1/2" by 1/8" strap hole.
-- balls that are 1.5" to 2.5" in diameter have a 3/4 inch by 1/8 inch strap hole.
-- Balls at or larger than 2.625" in diameter have a 1" by 1/8" strap hole.
Note: the holes are a hint bigger than this to accommodate a strap exactly this width and thickness.

- The material used for these balls has a medium tear strength, while it has some resistance to teeth bites, not nearly as much as my usual material.

TRIVIA NOTES:
I was trying to make a Color that matched the rose at a request of a customer. It was surprisingly close match to the rose in the yard. I may make more in the future, but unless there is a shortage of silicone again, with my regular material. Not anytime soon though.

I used the lesser material because I have it and need to go through it by the end of July or I have to toss it out as it only has about a 6-month shelf life (technically should be good for a year, but loses its certification at the end of July (if not molded, once molded good for a decade or more). I got it because in late December the only small business distributor in the USA ran out of my regular material, so got the same brand, but lesser durometer material because the 30-durometer material had been used a few years back to make some of the larger balls for me before I took over making them myself. Catch is my compression heat Press is not powerful enough for the bigger balls using this material and the smaller ones are easier to bite through, but it is still a medical grade class of material, so should be safe. For this batch I had a lot of failures and got nothing larger than a 2.25" size.

SAFETY NOTE:
The balls should never be put into a mouth without a method of pulling them out in place (like a strap) and of course keep away from children and intoxicated people. Dogs are usually smart enough not to swallow them, but care should be taken with them also. This batch of balls specifically should be careful if too many teeth bites are showing or if you have someone that frequently bites down hard on the ball gag.

There is none for this listing, although You can order with a replacement strap and if you let me know ahead of time, I can do a custom strap for you.
