Cancellation policies:
TELL ME ASAP!
I try to ship items as soon as I can so that you get them as soon as possible. I once got an item posted less than 3 hours after it was ordered. This is unusual. However I often start making the item within an hour of the order being made.
Therefore if you realise you wish to cancel an order you must let me know as soon as you can. If the item is made and packaged when you ask to cancel it gets difficult for me to agree to cancel. If I have not started to make it or it is only partially made then I will usually agree to cancel with no issues.
If I have posted it already then it is too late to cancel.
Customer satisfaction is important to me so I shall do all I can that is reasonable to make any issues right. If you have a problem after purchase please get in touch.
Usual rules:
Should there be a problem with an item I shall accept returns up to 30 days for the following reasons:
The item does not match what you ordered. For example you ordered a red widget and you received a blue widget.
Broken on arrival. While I wrap the items carefully the postal systems are not as gentle as they could be so it is possible for an item to get broken in transit.
Photos of the damage to the item are required for this. I will often not ask for the original item to be returned.
Should the item break through normal use* this is covered under a 90 day replacement.
Photos of the damage and a clear, detailed, honest description of how the damage occurred are required for this. No photo, no description = no replacement.
It is unlikely I will want the original item returned under these circumstances.
Should you change your mind after receiving the item or realise you ordered the wrong item, I will might agree that you must return it at your own expense and then I shall issue a refund for the item only. I can not refund shipping costs as the item was shipped, delivered and the post office will not refund me.
