Our spreader bar is made with oak hardwood and zinc coated fittings. All of the oak used is hand selected from dozens of blanks for the highest quality wood. Long unbroken grain ensures the strongest wood possible. In addition, we cut threads in the wood for the end eye screws to eliminate end grain splitting. This ensures that the grain is particularly strong in that area of the bar. During assembly we glue the eye screws in place with high-strength epoxy. These bars are stained a deep mahogany color and fitted with four eye bolts for many uses. The retaining nuts for the inner restraint points are recessed a bit so as not to be so intrusive. This is a nice piece of gear to have in your toy bag, toy chest or toy drawer. It comes in handy!

This bar is finished with a durable polyurethane finish and hand rubbed with furniture wax. It is 1" thick with an overall length of 32". The inner restraint points are 9" from each end. All of the restraint points have a 3/4" inner diameter and will work with most metal clips, snaps and rope.

Four 4" inch double ended clips are available as an add on. They work well with this spreader bar and the restraint sets we offer at our Etsy shop.
