An elegant set of four hardwood coasters in their own tray. Maple or Walnut coasters with accents of Padauk, Purple Heart, Walnut or Maple. Tray for coasters is made of Black Walnut.

Metal spike plates are attached to the bottom of the coasters with magnets providing a wonderfully prickly experience. While unlikely to draw blood under normal use, the intensity of sensation is incredible. There will be no doubt that their attention will be securely focused on the task at hand while they serve you or act as human furniture.

These coasters can be put to vanilla use quite easily by separating the plates from the bottom of the coasters. Imagine the in-laws complimenting you on the beautiful custom set of wood coasters while you smile at the memory of how it was used the evening before.

Each set of Coasters comes with a set of four spike plates.

There are no dyes or stains applied to the wood. Options offered are the natural colors of the various species of wood. As such the color and grain pattern can vary. Selections shown are indicative of what the wood species typically looks like. 

Professionally finished with a lacquer that is highly durable and rated for use on bar tops, the piece can be safely cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild detergent or disinfected with a commercially available disinfectant. Do not allow moisture to remain on the item as wood is porous and will absorb sitting liquids if left for an extended period of time regardless of finish.

The spikes are NOT dishwasher safe. However they can be laid on a towel and sprayed with Cavicide, or similar disinfectant, and rinsed or left to dry as needed for sanitizing.

Individual coasters are approximately 4 1/4" X 4 1/4" X 1/4" thick. Tray is 1 3/4" tall.

Returns Policy

Wood is a natural material and may have internal flaws that cannot be determined before use. As such we will replace or give 50% credit to items that break in normal use. Replacement or 50% credit will be at our discretion. Expected wear including dings and scratches that occur during the use of the product will not be covered.
