This listing is for a Rated Snap Shackle. It is designed to go with a strap of 1 3/16 inch in width. I use them for 1" wide straps.

They have a Working Load Limit of 2116 lbs (960 kg), Breaking load of 4400lbs (2000 kg) according to the manufacturer.

They are made from a Marine Grade of Stainless Steel, they are pricey because of that rating and quality. Made in France.

SAFETY NOTE: Even though this are rated, there is still a risk if used for suspension activities.

I have heard reports of one or two failures of similar hardware where during suspension when a snap was used as a single point of suspension. DO NOT use as a single point of suspension and most certainly don't rotate someone using the snap's swivel; as friction of the spinning will likely cause it fail.  

I use them for my Easy Wear Suspension Cuffs (also listed on this site), this version is designed to work with straps up to 1" wide. 

There is no discount pricing on these, unless you want to order a lot (as in 40 or more) in which case if you order them from me, Cash up front and I will only charge shipping and a 10% pass through fee for my handling

Trivia: I had a request from a suspension expert for a rated shackle for my easy wear cuffs, and thus I looked into it and found these. Very high quality, but very pricey as a result. 
I have to order quite a few to get a decent price. Used to also carry a slightly larger, heavier capacity version, but I don't use it and was not available when I had to restock this size.

Returns Policy

No returns accepted for Custom or "AS IS" made items, We may repair or will replace an item if there is a manufacturing defect on a custom made item. "AS IS" items presume some defect so we will not replace those.

Balls and ball gags may ONLY be returned if the inner bag's seal is intact

All other non-custom items may be returned if unopened for refund except shipping.

If there is a problem with the order, please contact the shop email, we will require a picture of the problem, our policy is to replace when we can, if it is our fault at cost. We allow replacements, but customer must pay for shipping both ways and any difference in price if we originally shipped the correct item AND we can accept it back (such as Ball gags still sealed in their bags).
