Is the ring and base removable, so it can be worn more discreetly at a job?

The ring base is not removable, since it is sandwiched between the outer layer of the collar and the soft lining, as we wanted to avoid the metal sitting directly on the skin. However, we can send an additional ring post, just without the ring in it, together with the collar, so it can be switched to something less suspicious ;)
