If you have ever had a leather item crack or tear and noticed the inside is fluffy and is easily pulled apart you have experienced the flaws of composite/bonded leather. Full Grain leather will not deteriorate in that way, and instead will become softer and more supple over time. Synthetic and composite/bonded leather is significantly cheaper, and unbeknown to most people can still legally be marketed as 'genuine leather'. We at Mercy Industries understand the frustration of buying 'genuine leather' items that don't last the test of time, and it is this experience in part that lead us to start making our own products.
