The false bottom is held on by magnets for security and ease of use. The spike plates are also held on with magnets, allowing removal for cleaning.
Professionally finished with a lacquer that is highly durable and rated for use on bar tops, the piece can be safely cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild detergent or disinfected with a commercially available disinfectant. Do not allow moisture to remain on the item as wood is porous and will absorb sitting liquids if left for an extended period of time regardless of finish.
The spikes are NOT dishwasher safe. However they can be laid on a towel and sprayed with Cavicide, or similar disinfectant, and rinsed or left to dry as needed for sanitizing.

Wood is a natural material and may have internal flaws that cannot be determined before use. As such we will replace or give 50% credit to items that break in normal use. Replacement or 50% credit will be at our discretion. Expected wear including dings and scratches that occur during the use of the product will not be covered.
