Adhesion, properly

- Clean, dry, product-free skin. No moisturiser, no oil, no body lotion anywhere near. This single step accounts for most failures.
- Warm the adhesive first. Hold the pastie in your palm for thirty seconds. Warm adhesive grips substantially better than cold.
- Press from the centre outward. Working outward pushes air out. Working inward traps it, and a trapped bubble becomes a lifted edge within an hour.
- Hold for thirty seconds. Adhesives are pressure activated. Do not just place and let go.
- Apply at least fifteen minutes before you need them. They set considerably better with time.
- Removal: slowly, in the shower. Warm water breaks the bond. Never pull a dry pastie off quickly.

Wearing them
Pasties work in three quite different situations, and the right product differs for each:
Under sheer clothing, where the job is coverage. Skin tone or minimal designs, reusable silicone is worth it here.

FAQ
