Why glass, briefly
- Temperature. Warm it in water or chill it in the fridge and the same object becomes two experiences. Silicone equalises to body heat in seconds and cannot do this.
- Rigidity. Glass transmits every bit of pressure rather than absorbing it, which is why it works so well for g-spot and prostate stimulation.
- Genuinely cleanable. Nonporous, so soap and water, boiling, or the dishwasher all work.

Is glass safe?
Borosilicate is lab glassware, and it handles far more force than a body can generate. The real rules are short: inspect for chips before use like you would a wine glass, retire it if you ever find one, avoid extreme temperature swings, and buy from real brands rather than mystery marketplaces.
Temperature play, properly
- Warm: bowl of warm tap water, a few minutes, test on your wrist. Never a microwave.
- Cool: fridge for ten minutes. Not the freezer.
- Never swing between extremes, which stresses glass and is unpleasant regardless.
