That said every stick of Kooboo we send is cut from a piece that has passed the "circle test" before it is steamed and stretched. A 60 inch length is bent "tip to tip" if it does not crack -- it has passed.
We offer several "optional available" enhancements. The Etsy Platform does not support all the permutations of length, diameter, 2 handle colors, two species of rattan, an optional storage and carrying scabbard, and your cane can be varnished or not. The "Dragon Upgrade" swaps out optimized Kooboo [ which comes in diameters from 4.5 to 11 mm] for 9mm "Dragon kooboo" which is, denser, more closely grained, stiffer and smoother than "common" rattan. It would be 'gilding the lily' to a shameless degree to varnish a Dragon cane but some people do prefer it that way. In my opinion varnish improves the look and feel of a cane, on both ends of the stick; but contrary to "the Lore" it does not extend longevity, much less confer Immortality. Canes do break eventually. Even mine. But used and looked after with reasonable care, you can expect years of faithful service from an Adam and Gillian's Cane.
Because of the limitations of the Etsy platform the clickable options will assume you want the "standard" 3/8" [9mm] 33" long Common Kooboo, or 36" long Dragon Rattan. You will be able to click several of the most popular color combinations and the species, scabbard and varnish options that affect the price. HOWEVER ... you can MESSAGE and specify your IDEAL cane to the millimeter. If you don't see what you want -- please ASK.
