It is 3/4" thick x 12" long x 5" wide with two layers of leather with and internal stiffening layer, with overall dimensions of 3/4 “ thick x 12" long x 5" wide. We rate it "Severe" ... BUT: It is a dense, heavy, corporal punishment instrument, which CAN be used gently if you choose. but it can It can leave deep blue bruises, as well.
Inspired by a Victorian lady's hairbrush, it has a tiny bit of
flex in handle to minimize the risk of "over driving."
