Unlike weighted bats filled with loose sand or shot, ours uses a solid 5/8" steel rebar core secured in place with heavy-duty hot glue. The weight stays firmly centered with no loose filling shifting around inside, giving the bat a consistent and predictable feel with every swing.
The core is surrounded by firm foam padding, creating a solid, weighty impact while retaining a softer exterior. At approximately 2 lbs, the bat has plenty of weight behind it without requiring an especially hard swing.
