Copula — One Strap. Any Two Circles.

In grammar, the copula is the word that joins two parts into a single statement. Ours does the same — to the body.

The body is a collection of circles: wrists, ankles, elbows, thighs, a waist. Copula closes any two of them together.

Not with a pair of cuffs and a chain between them, but with a single continuous strap of Italian full-grain leather. Through a precise configuration of keepers, the strap wraps one circle, then the other, drawing them together into one clean, unbroken line.

No links. No carabiners. No assembly. One strap, one motion, two circles joined — beautifully and in seconds.

A Vocabulary of Positions

Wrists bound in front — or held behind the back. Ankles brought together into a measured, shortened step. A wrist drawn down to a thigh. An ankle folded against a thigh. Elbows brought toward each other. An arm held against the waist. Wrist to opposite ankle, folding the body into itself.

Every pairing is a different sentence — and Copula speaks them all.

Two D-Rings. Fixation Beyond Fixation.

Two D-rings sit on either side of the bound sections, extending Copula beyond the connection between two body parts.

Use them for tethering to a suitable anchor point, attaching a leash or integrating Copula into a larger restraint configuration. Connect it to one of Frenum's seven rings and the sentence becomes a paragraph.

Binding two circles together is where Copula starts — not where it ends.

Self-Release Made Difficult by Geometry

Copula requires no integrated lock. When the wrists are secured side by side, the position of the buckles and the limited range of movement make them difficult for the wearer to reach and operate.

The restraint comes not from a complicated locking mechanism, but from the geometry of the configuration itself.

Wide Where It Matters

The broad leather band distributes pressure across a larger surface instead of concentrating it along a narrow edge, creating a firm and stable hold.

Roller buckles and adjustment holes positioned along the strap provide a wide range of adjustment, allowing Copula to adapt to different body circumferences and restraint configurations.

Copula is available in five useful working lengths: 40, 50, 60, 80 and 100 cm.

The size represents the total usable length available around the two body parts being restrained. Buckle and overlap zones are already deducted, so the stated size is the length you can actually use.

These are examples rather than an exhaustive list. The continuous-strap construction allows Copula to be adapted to many different configurations depending on the selected length and the wearer's measurements.

Compatibility & Connection

The two integrated D-rings allow Copula to become part of a larger restraint configuration. They can be used with suitable leashes, tethers and secure anchor points.

Copula can also be connected to Frenum through its D-rings, allowing the head harness and body restraint to function as part of the same configuration.

How to Use

1. Choose a Copula length suitable for the body parts and configuration you intend to connect.
2. Form the first restraint loop around the first body part and adjust it to the required fit.
3. Position the remaining section of the continuous strap around the second body part to form the second loop.
4. Adjust both sections using the roller buckles and adjustment holes.
5. Check the fit and positioning of both loops before use.
6. If required, use the integrated D-rings for tethering, attaching a leash or connecting Copula to another compatible restraint system.

Copula Size Guide

Copula's size is its useful working length: the total circumference available for the two body parts it closes around.

Buckle and overlap zones are already deducted. The number shown for each size is the length you can actually use.

How to Choose Your Size

1. Measure both body parts exactly where the strap will sit. Keep the measuring tape snug, but do not pull it tight.
2. Add the two measurements together: A + B.
3. Choose the Copula size equal to or just above your total.

The closer the selected Copula size is to your combined measurement, the shorter the remaining free tail and the cleaner the finished look.

Fit Notes

• Measure in the position in which you intend to use the restraint.
• If Copula will be worn over clothing, add approximately 1–2 cm per body part depending on the thickness of the clothing.
• The fit should be snug without excessive compression.
• As a general fit check, you should be able to slide one finger comfortably beneath the leather band.
