Instead of granting her the power she sought, the entity saw her as a threat and rival. It wrapped Thalira in a pulsating, ribbed cocoon with strange organic features that seemed to breathe and shift with a life of its own. This structure fed on Thalira's energy, slowly draining her and trapping her for eternity.
