About the Wooden Paddle
A solid wood paddle offers something no leather paddle can replicate, complete rigidity. Because it does not give at all on impact, every bit of force translates directly into the strike, making this a genuinely firm, no compromise discipline tool.
The choice between pine and oak lets you dial in exactly how much weight and density you want. Pine offers a classic, time tested feel, while the denser 1/2 inch oak version adds noticeably more heft and impact. Both are finished with the same careful process, rounded edges, hand sanding, staining, and a polyurethane coat that keeps the wood looking beautiful for a lifetime.
Prefer something with a bit of flex instead of solid wood? Compare it to our 18 Inch Leather Paddle. Handcrafted in our USA shop and backed by our Lifetime Guarantee.
