This piece enjoys the juxtaposition of the fluid energy and expressiveness of dance with the rigidity of rope and shibari. They may seem contrasting from a visual perspective, however there is mutuality between the measured and controlled discipline of both ballet and rope tying. Ballerinas know and understand pain, but the bounds of the rope causing her to remain en pointe push even the most disciplined dancer to the very edge.

Soft matt lamination with purple foil that catches the light depending on where you are standing. These prints really stand out!

Our foil printing partners are part of the Aura Print Group and utilise over 100+ years of collective print experience to be at the forefront of offering the best quality products. They use the most recent printing technology to bring the traditional foil stamping process into the future using digital foiling. And what makes them even better is that the digital foil process produces less waste and is fully recyclable … although we hope the recyclability factor isn’t used too hastily with our prints!

This signed, numbered and dated edition is limited to 150 copies.

Please note that we are based in the UK. Though you may be used to being shafted … and not in the fun way … by extortionate international shipping costs, we endeavour to keep costs as low as possible.

We aim to process most orders within 1-2 working days. Estimated shipping times after processing are 6-9 working days (Monday to Friday)

Print to order items will take a little longer but anything larger than A3 will be printed in the USA to save time on shipping!

If you have spent over $35 you will receive a tracking number for your order. You can keep an eye on updates in your emails from Royal Mail.
